Enjoy an exciting and scenic 20 minute flight in Taupō’s Floatplane to the southern end of Lake Taupō, taking in the awe-inspiring scenery of the great lake and the central plateau, catching glimpses of the mighty mountains of Tongariro National Park.

Spend the afternoon white water rafting on the Tongariro River – one of the best rafting adventures in New Zealand.

  • 20-minute scenic floatplane flight over Lake Taupō

  • Grade 3 white water rafting on the Tongariro River

  • Return road transport to your Taupō accommodation

  • The combo can be done in reverse order

Departs from Taupo’s Floatplane office (Redoubt St, Taupo Town Centre) at:

·         11.15am to meet with rafting at 12.00pm Winter (May 1 – October 31)

·         1.15pm to meet with rafting at 2.00pm Summer (November 1 – March 31)

·         12.20pm to meet with rafting at 1.00pm (April)
